The Waterloo Board of Education on Monday night approved an expansion of the number of athletic teams that will compete as Waterloo United prior to the official merger of East and West. Volleyball, wrestling, cross country and bowling will compete as the Waterloo United Titans in the Mississippi Valley Conference starting in the Fall. Currently all Waterloo West teams are in the MVC while Waterloo East is in the Iowa Alliance Conference.
