A nine-year-old Waterloo boy was taken to the hospital after being shot in the hip. Officers responding to the home in the 1200 block of W. Mullan Ave Thursday night.
Authorities say the boy was inside the home and the bullets came from outside. It’s not known if he was the intended target. He is expected to survive.
