Thursday night on KWAY Country the Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat Linn-Mar 10-2 on the road. The Go-Hawks avenged a 20-0 loss from one year ago. Gehrig Schmidt got the win in his first ever varsity outing, Ian Sedgwick went 3-4 at the plate and Braden Seversen went 2-4 with a triple.
The Go-Hawks will be at the Prange Tournament over the weekend.
