Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Class 3A 9th ranked Waverly-Shell Rock baseball team beat Class 1A 4th ranked South Winneshiek 13-2. The Go-Hawks banged out 14 hits and got home runs from Cash Ryan, Jack Wedemeier and Gehrig Tibbits. On the mound Wedemeier struck out 12 in a complete game. The win was the 10th in a row all on the road.

Tuesday night on Y99.3 in high school softball the Class 2A 8th ranked Wapsie Valley Warriors beat Waverly-Shell Rock 3-2. Sawyer Buhr drove in her sister Taylor for the winning run.
