Eight people were injured in a rear-end collision in Black Hawk County on Sunday, according to KWWL. Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 8700 block of West 1st Street just after 4:15 p.m. after a Jeep Liberty ran into the back of a Chevy Silverado that had stopped to allow a truck in front of it to turn into a driveway. There was an adult driving the jeep with five juveniles as passengers. All six were taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries, none of which were thought to be life threatening. There were two adults and an infant in the Silverado. The two adults were also treated for minor injuries. The infant did not suffer any injuries.
