The parents of Waverly mayor Kristin Happel are in the process of selling their property at 2211 4th St. SW, which is just south of the Dollar Tree and across from McDivitt’s Repair and Towing, to Culver’s.
Happel shared that the sale is still in the pending phase.
A Culver’s restaurant coming to Waverly had been a long running rumor and inside joke for much of the community over the years before getting this close to reality.
