The construction on the Waverly Municipal Pool is still going on. Waverly mayor Kristin Happel told us Monday that the east side of the parking lot will be demolished this week and the west side will be poured next week, weather permitting.
Mayor Happel also gave this update on the splash pad.
There is a strong possibility, according to the mayor, that the free splash pad could open yet this year. It has already been announced that the pool will open for a full season next year.
