The Waverly Rail Trail Bridge, sometimes called the Nestle Bridge, will be closed Friday as part of the Waverly Shell Rock Area United Way Day of Caring. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. City staff and volunteers will be staining the bridge. The bridge will remain closed until Saturday at noon so that the bridge stain can dry. Trail users are asked to respect closure signs and barricades.
