US News and World Report has named Wartburg College the top regional college in Iowa. They also ranked 7th among all Midwest Regional Colleges out of 91 from 12 states. Rankings are based on student outcomes, like graduation rate, retention, and post-graduation debt and earnings, as well as peer assessment and faculty resources, like student-faculty ratios and the proportion of full-time faculty, among other things. US News has published its Best Colleges list every year since 1983.
