University of Iowa senior Jarrod Uthoff was named Monday to the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-America Third Team. Uthoff becomes Iowa’s first NABC All-American since Ronnie Lester earned third team laurels in 1979. Uthoff, ranked second in the Big Ten in scoring, first in blocked shots, and tied for 13th in rebounding.
