The University of Northern Iowa men’s basketball team recorded a home-opening victory over the Alcorn State Braves Monday night in the McLeod Center, 73-45.
Sophomore Juwan McCloud poured in a career-high 18 points, while senior Bennett Koch and freshman Tywhon Pickford each tallied double-doubles to help the Panthers pick up their first win of the 2017-18 season.
UNI will be back in action Wednesday night at 7:00 in the McLeod Center when the Panthers take on the Wartburg Knights. Y99.3 will have all the live play-by-play of Wednesday’s game.
