On November 28th, 2017 the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two vehicle accident at the intersection of C33 and Joy Avenue. Daniel Cox, 53 of Plainfield, was traveling west on C33 following a white 2017 Ford Explorer driven by Bridget Steere-Bollman, 34 of Waverly. Ms. Steere- Bollman was waiting for a vehicle in front of her to turn left when she was rear-ended by Cox. Bollman was transported to the Waverly Health Center for evaluation by the Waverly Ambulance service. Cox was issued citations for failure to stop in a safe distance and driving while suspended. The Bremer County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Waverly Ambulance and Del’s Wrecker Service.
