The UNI women lost a heart-breaker Wednesday night. Trailing by 13 late in the fourth quarter, the University of Northern Iowa women’s basketball team clawed back to push Nebraska Omaha to the brink, but the Panthers’ spirited comeback fell short as the Mavericks won, 78-74. UNI is 2-6 on the season.
