Monday night on Y99.3 Wapsie Valley swept their rivals from Denver in a doubleheader. The Wapsie Valley girls won the first game in close fashion 40-36 and the Warrior boys won 66-59.
In other area girls games Monday night: Aplington-Parkersburg beat Columbus 62-51, Dike-New Hartford topped Jesup 40-35 and Grundy Center slammed Union 44-15.
In area boys action: Aplington-Parkersburg outscored Columbus 79-43 and Dike-New Hartford beat Jesup 64-40.
