Baby McKenna Hovenga continues the road to recovery after being hit in the head with a softball last Wednesday in Waverly. According to a midnight post on the Healing for McKenna Facebook page: “she has been seizure free for 48 hours. She is still retaining fluid and is on a breathing tube. The CT came back stable, but they are still seeing the spots of possible brain damage. However…We don’t know the extent IF ANY until she wakes up. Her blood levels were great! Labs are stable.”
A fundraiser in her name has raised $27,431 as of 5:38 on Monday, May 7th.
