The Butler County Sheriff’s Department responded to a report of a jet ski accident on the Shell Rock River two miles north of Greene Wednesday afternoon about 3:15. A jet ski driven by Tad Schneider of Allison struck a ski boat operated by Brian Cole of Nashua.
Schneider was wearing a life jacket and was briefly unconscious in the water before he was rescued by others and taken by a third boat to a park in Greene where the Greene Ambulance transported him to Waverly Health Center for treatment of suspected head injuries.
