Police responded to a three vehicle crash on Monday. The accident was reported in 3200 block of 252nd Street. According to the Bremer County Sheriff’s Office a Ford Escape driven by Emma Cutsforth of Fairbank was waiting for traffic to clear before pulling into a private driveway. Behind her was a Ford Fusion driven by Ethan Kleitsch of Readlyn. A Honda Accord driven by Ben Riordan failed to notice the cars ahead of him had stopped and collided with Kleitsch, who collided with Cutsforth in front of him. Both the Fusion and Escape were considered total losses. No major injuries were reported. Riordan was issued a citation for failure to maintain control.
