The man accused of damaging the Field of Dreams site near Dyersville has entered a guilty plea. 20 year old Austin Pape entered the plea to 2nd Degree Criminal Mischief on Monday. Pape drove a vehicle onto the baseball field made famous by the 1989 movie, Field of Dreams. That act left thousands of dollars in damages. The crime received national attention which led to over $15,000 being raised to fund repairs to the field. The site is visited by thousands of visitors every year. Pape will be sentenced on November 13th.
