Wartburg College swept the American Rivers Conference male and female athletes of the week honors this week. Wartburg senior Cross Cannone was named the American Rivers Conference Male Athlete of the Week and top weekly performer for wrestling. Meanwhile Wartburg junior Emma Gerdes of Cedar Falls was named the American Rivers Conference Female Athlete of the Week and top weekly performer in women’s basketball.
