An alleged garage burglar was tackled off of a stolen bicycle in Waterloo on Thursday morning, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. A man called police around 1:40 a.m. Thursday to report that his garage had been burglarized. When police arrived on scene they noticed that the neighboring homes had their garages opened as well. One of the items reported missing was a bicycle. Officers found 36 year old Jason Wilson riding that bike in the area of Liberty Avenue and Wisconsin Street. An officer apparently tackled Wilson off of the bike and apprehended him. Inside a duffel bag he was carrying police found a pry bar. Wilson was charged with Interference Causing Injury, Possession of Burglary Tools, three counts of third degree Burglary and one count of third degree Theft. His bond was set at $47,000.
