August 10th through the 24th the Cedar Bend Humane Society will be putting on their Summer Foster Camp. The program allows people thinking about adopting a chance to see how an animal would work as a pet.
Adoption Supervisor Abby Cresap addresses the concern of how the animals would handle only being with someone for such a short period:
