Several area girls were named to the All-District Basketball Teams by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association: In Class 4A was Lizzy Frazell and Sydney Bienemann of Waverly-Shell Rock, in Class 2A was Mylee Thurm and Channing Johnson of Denver and coach Joe Frost was named Coach of the Year, in 1A Paige Kampman of Clarksville and Kylee Pexa of Dunkerton were honored.
