Area Girls Named All State

Area volleyball players were named to the Iowa Girls Coaches Association All-State Teams.

Denver setter Channing Johnson was named to the Elite Team.

In Class 2A Taylor Buhr of Wapsie Valley and Channing Johnson, Bailey Mullihan and Mylee Thurm of Denver were named to the 1^st team; and Alexa Buhman of Sumner-Fredickburg and Grace Mullihan of Denver were named to the 2^nd team.

In Class 1A Tayah Pollock of Janesville was named 1^st team; Kylee Pexa of Dunkerton is on 2^nd team; Taylor Kipp of Dunkerton and Quinn Sweeney of Janesville are on 3^rd team; and Honor Hovenga and Hayden Anderson of Janesville and Delaney Toneff of Dunkerton were named 4^th team.

Denver coach Jamie Johnson was named the Class 2A Coach of the Year.
