The Iowa Print Sports Writers Association has named its 2026 Girls All-State Basketball Teams and several area girls were honored.
In 1A Kylee Pexa of Dunkerton is on 2nd team while Hailey Kipp of Dunkerton and Paige Kampman of Clarksville are on 3rd team; in
Class 2A Denver’s Mylee Thurm is on 2nd team; in 4A Lizzy Frazell of Waverly-Shell Rock is on 1st team; and in Class 5A Nakia Olliviere of Waterloo West is on 1st team while Karis Finley of Cedar Falls is on 3rd team.
