The Iowa Girls Coaches Association has announced its Softball All District Teams and this area is very well represented.
In Class 1A: Clair Lodge, Hannah Wangsness and Emmalee Manwarren of Clarksville, Kennedi McGarvey of Don Bosco and Dani Hughes of Janesville were honored.
In Class 2A: Malea Gonnerman of Denver and Peyton Curley and Taylor Buhr of Wapsie Valley were honored.
In Class 3A: Isabel Bernard and Jamie Jones of Sumner-Fredericksburg-Tripoli were recognized.
In Class 4A: Sally Gade of Waverly-Shell Rock was honored and Go-Hawk Kim Meyer was named the District Coach of the Year.
