The Girls All-State Basketball Teams were announced Monday and it has some local flavor.
In Class 5A Emerson Green of Cedar Falls made the 1st team and Anaya Barney of Cedar Falls was on the 2nd team.
In Class 4A Abbie Draper of Waverly-Shell Rock made the 2nd team.
In Class 1A Clarksville’s Kori Wedeking made the 1st team with Briana Baker-Bruce of Janesville on the 3rd team.
Zoe Young of West Des Moines Valley was named Miss Basketball 2019.
