Monday night in Regional Championship Softball on Y99.3 the Clarksville Indians beat North Butler 4-2. With the win the Indians advance to the Class 1A State Tournament in Fort Dodge. Clarksville will be the 3-seed and play 6-seed Belle Plaine at 5:00 Monday night. Y99.3 will have the coverage.
Also Monday night in high school softball: Waterloo Columbus edged BCLUW 1-0 in 11 innings to advance to State in Class 2A. Columbus will be the 3-seed and play 6-seed Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Monday at 5:30 in the quarterfinals. Teams are guaranteed three games at the State Tournament.
