The high school volleyball season will begin soon and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union has released its preseason rankings and several area teams are ranked. In Class 5A Cedar Fall is 5th. In Class 4A Waverly-Shell Rock is ranked 10th. In Class 2A Denver is 11th and Sumner-Fredericksburg is 12th. In Class 1A Wapsie Valley is ranked 2nd and Janesville is 5th. We will cover Waverly-Shell Rock and area teams beginning in September on both of our stations.
