A Waterloo man has been arrested for allegedly shooting into a vehicle with people inside, according to the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier. 39 year old Richard Sturdivant Sr. was arrested on Friday and charged with Intimidation with a Weapon and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Police say that city traffic cameras caught Sturdivant shoot several bullets into a Chevy Tahoe that had people inside. No injuries were reported. Sturdivant was already on probation for a felony drug offense and is awaiting trial in a case in which marijuana was allegedly found in his vehicle during a traffic stop in May and January 2025 search in which police allegedly found a .40 caliber handgun in his possession.
