Arrest Made in Blum Vandalism

Police have made an arrest after U.S Representative Rod Blum’s office was vandalized in Dubuque. Officers reviewed traffic camera footage and observed Cory Wayne Straub walking in the area with a paint can. Straub was observed throwing white paint onto the front of the building. Wednesday night, police located Straub and he had paint on his jeans and admitted to vandalizing the office. Straub was placed under arrest for Criminal Mischief in the 3rd Degree. Straub was also found to be in possession of marijuana and was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance.
