The first no-hitter of the Major League Baseball season is in the books. Last night the Cubs’ Jake Arrieta tossed a no-no against the Reds. It was Arrieta’s second of his career after pulling the same feat last season against the Dodgers. Arrieta got a ton of run support too last night. The Cubs pounded 18 hits including 5 homers and 1 grand slam as they beat Cincinnati 16-0 on the road.
Other winners in the Majors Thursday night were: Seattle, the Dodgers, Miami, Tampa Bay, Minnesota, the Angels, Arizona, Baltimore, Oakland, Kansas City, Texas and Pittsburgh.
