Wartburg cornerback Trent Roling was named the American Rivers Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Roling recorded three tackles, one tackle for loss, and was credited with four pass breakups. He also had a 48 yard interception return for a touchdown in Wartburg’s 55-23 win over Simpson in the season finale.
Wartburg’s Zane Mulder earned the Male Athlete of the Week and Wrestler of the Week honors from the American Rivers Conference, Mulder won first place at the Luther Open in the Elite Bracket, winning at 174.
