Tuesday night on Y99.3 freshman Myia Rosecrans scored just before halftime and that proved to be enough for the Denver girls soccer team to beat Grundy Center-Gladbrook-Reinbeck 1-0. The Cyclones are now 5-2 on the year and will face Waverly-Shell Rock Thursday at 5:15 on KWAY Country AM 1470 FM 96.3.
Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Denver boys shutout Waverly-Shell Rock 3-0. Lakin Foelske scored two goals and Caden Foelske added another as Denver moves to 2-5 on the season and W-SR drops to 1-7. It was Denver’s first win over W-SR since 2012.
Tuesday night on the road Waverly-Shell Rock girls soccer crushed Decorah 10-0.
