Monday night the Baylor men gave Gonzaga their first loss of the season in an 86-70 win. This is Baylor’s first championship. Baylor coach Scott Drew has been with the Bears since 2005 and rebuilt the program following NCAA sanctions due to the previous coach, Dave Bliss, being accused of paying players and making improper statements to the media insinuating that a Baylor player that was murdered by his teammate in 2003 was dealing drugs.
