UNI men’s basketball radio analyst Kevin Boyle has announced his retirement from broadcasting. The longtime former UNI assistant coach turned broadcaster will finish the remainder of the 2021-22 season on the Panther Sports Radio Network, which will include the UNI’s NIT Tournament run.
Two members of the UNI women’s basketball team have been recognized for their play this year by the Missouri Valley Conference.
For the fourth year in a row senior guard Karli Rucker has been named to the First Team All-MVC along with 10 other MVC players. Freshman forward Grace Boffeli was also recognized for the first time in her career as part of the Honorable Mention All-MVC Team.
Former Waverly-Shell Rock star Abbie Draper of the Bradly Braves was named to the MVC All-Freshman Team.
