Thursday night on KWAY Country the #1 ranked Waverly-Shell Rock girls soccer team edged Cedar Falls 2-1 on the road. The Tigers led 1-0 at halftime before Anaka Ott tied the match with 29:57 left and Linde Hubbard scored the game-winner with 11:59 to go. W-SR is now 4-0 while Cedar Falls drops to 0-6 with each loss coming to a ranked team.
Thursday in track the Waverly-Shell Rock girls finished 3rd at the Bobcat Relays and the boys were 4th at Cedar Falls.
In golf the Go-Hawk girls won the Go-Hawk Tri with a 203 beating North Fayette-Valley and Charles City by 9 and 24 strokes.
