Boys Lose, Girls Win and Make College Choices

Tuesday night in boys soccer on KWAY Country, Waverly-Shell Rock lost their second game of the year as Waterloo West won their season opener 3-0. The game was scoreless in the first half. In the second half Edvin Rizvic netted two goals and Dino Pilipovic scored one to give the Wahawks victory. The final goal of the night came with no time on the clock with a P.K.

Tuesday night the Waverly-Shell Rock girls beat Decorah 1-0 on the road.

The Go-Hawk girls have recently had a couple of sophomores commit to play college at big programs. Siri Ott has verbally committed to Iowa State and Kenzie Roling has verbaled to Iowa.
