Tuesday night on KWAY Country the Denver boys outlasted Waverly-Shell Rock 1-0. The game went scoreless through 100 minutes of regulation and overtime. In the penalty kick shootout the Cyclones edged the Go-Hawks 9-8. Waverly-Shell Rock is now 1-7 and Denver is 4-4 on the season.
Tuesday night in girls soccer the Denver beat Union 5-0 and Waverly-Shell Rock blanked Decorah 7-0.
