Wednesday in Class 4A action in the boys State Tournament: Iowa City West beat Newton 58-51, Cedar Rapids Kennedy topped Dubuque Hempstead 55-47, Sioux City East got by Bettendorf 61-53 and West Des Moines Valley edged Des Moines North 57-55.
Semi-Final play for Class 1A through 3A is Thursday and Class 4A semi-final action will be Friday with Championships for all classes on Saturday.
