A Bremer County man convicted of voluntary manslaughter as a teenager is now facing charges after police said he became upset over being served the wrong beer at a Cedar Falls nightclub.
24-year-old Sebatian Trimble was arrested early Saturday morning at Voodoo Lounge on Main Street. Police said a breath test showed Trimble had a .177 blood alcohol level, more than twice the legal limit.
According to police, Trimble threw items off the bar and a beer bottle after being served a Bud Light instead of a Budweiser. He fought with staff when they tried to remove him.
Trimble faces charges of assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct.
A jury convicted Trimble in 2009 for stabbing and killing Raymond Randall during a fight in Sumner in August 2008. Trimble was 16 at the time of the stabbing.
