The Bremer Avenue Bridge replacement was originally slated to be completed by September 1st. That deadline is now delayed to November 28th.
Iowa Department of Transportation Field Services Coordinator Pete Hjelmstad shared why there’s a delay.
Hjelmstad said workers are planning to be back in the river by the end of this week or beginning of next week.
