The American Rivers Conference announced its Spring 2021 Women’s Soccer All-Conference Awards with seven members from Wartburg recognized for their performances, as well as the coaching staff. The seven All-Conference selections are the most for Wartburg since the 2012 season.
Tiffany Pins, Justin Kaiser and former Go-Hawk coach Scott Schara were named the A-R-C Coaching Staff of the Year as the team went undefeated in their conference-only schedule and conceded just one goal en route to their first regular-season championship since 2015. This is the second time a staff led by Pins has been named Coaching Staff of the Year in the A-R-C.
Former Go-Hawk Junior Sarah Campbell headlined the awards for the Knights when she was named the conference Defensive MVP in addition to her All-Conference selection. Campbell is just the second Wartburg player in history to be named the A-R-C Defensive MVP. The first to claim this award was Campbell’s sister, Zoey Campbell back in 2018.
Joining Campbell on the All-Conference team is junior Joy Smith junior Kate Luers, former Denver Cyclone sophomore Gabby Corday, junior Hailey Osburn, sophomore Katie Berglund and junior Marissa Lopez.
