The Cedar Falls fireworks ordinance recently changed. Consumer fireworks will be permitted within city limits on July 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., July 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and July 5th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Fireworks can only be used on the user’s property or property where the owner has given prior consent and all debris must be removed. They are not to be used on city-owned property, public sidewalks, right of ways, streets, parks, or parking lots. They City says they will employ a zero-tolerance policy for all violators.
