Emergency crews from at least four agencies responded to late night fire Monday in the Beaver Hills Country Club community in Cedar Falls. Water had to be trucked to the scene, due to the fact that there are no hydrants in the immediate area of the fire. The family escaped safely. The home is a total loss. Crews are still on scene working to contain the flames. The cause of the fire has not been determined. Property records show the home is owned by Darren and Sara Yoder.
