With heat indices expected to hit and exceed 100 degrees this week the city of Cedar Falls has set up three cooling stations. The Cedar Falls Public Library at 504 Main Street may be used to cool off, with a drinking fountain inside the air conditioned building that also features internet access. The Hearst Center for the Arts at 304 W. Seerley Boulevard also is air conditioned, has a drinking fountain, and has WI-Fi availability. Finally the Cedar Falls Visitor Center at 6510 Hudson Road is air conditioned and has a drinking fountain available. There are also two public pools. The Holmes Pool is an indoor facility at 505 Holmes Dr. Admission is $5 per adult and $3 per child. The Falls Aquatic Center at 3025 S. Main Street is $8 per youth and adult and children under two $3.
