A varsity baseball and softball player from Cedar Falls tested positive for COVID-19. Several other players from each team are being tested for the virus. Both teams will shut down their season for 10-14 days. That time period extends to the end of the regular season. If a team is doing a quarantine during postseason it will be forced to forfeit. Waverly-Shell Rock hosted Cedar Falls on Wednesday, June 24th, just days before the Tiger player tested positive for coronavirus.
