Charles City Man Pleads Guilty

A Charles City man has pleaded guilty to crimes in both Butler and Bremer Counties, according to KIMT. 23 year old Dylan Jones pled guilty to two counts of 3rd degree burglary in Butler County and one count of 3rd degree burglary and 2nd degree theft in Bremer County. Jones forced his way into the Farmers Win Co-Op in Waverly back on May 23rd and stole a safe with nearly $2,900 inside. The safe was later found in the Cedar River. A couple days later Jones broke into the Farmers Co-Op in Shell Rock. A search of his home turned up burglar’s tools, stolen checks, and stolen cash. He will be sentenced in Butler County on November 18th and in Bremer County on December 8th.
