A Charles City teen had to be flown to the Mayo Clinic after a collision Tuesday evening, according to KIMT. 17 year old Leo Trebbien was driving a 1995 Jeep Wrangler around 5:15 when he failed to stop at a stop sign. He was struck by a 2011 Chevy Silverado driven by 41 year old Andrew Hauser of Clarksville. Trebbien was taken by the Mayo Air Ambulance to the Mayo Clinic for treatment of his injuries. Hauser was transported by private vehicle to the Waverly Health Center. The Iowa State Patrol says both lives were saved due to seatbelts.
