A Charles City woman has been sentenced for drunkenly causing a crash that killed two people, according to KIMT. 29 year old Casey Jo Lindahl has been sentenced to 27 years behind bars and must pay $300,000 in restitution for causing the crash that claimed the lives of 77 year old Chris Anderson and 76 year old Anita Anderson. Lindahl was legally drunk when she crossed the center line on September 4, 2021 crashing head on with the Andersons. Lindahl’s three year old son was also injured in the crash. Lindahl pleaded guilty to Homicide by Vehicle-OWI and one count of Child Endangerment.
