Bremer County is currently in desperate need of child care providers. According to Tiffany Skaggs, the Vice President of the Iowa Family Child Care Association, the county lacks 1,500 child care spots for children and infants. Skaggs, in association with Child Care Resource & Referral and local family child care providers, will be hosting a recruitment event open to anyone who is interested in becoming a child care provider.
